Manager Quality Assurance for Customer Projects f/m/d

Are you passionate about quality aspects in international projects?
In this role you will be the central point of contact for quality and process issues in selected global customer projects in our business unit "Instrumentation and Test Systems". You will be responsible for the establishment, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes (independent of the overall project management) and ensure that both customer requirements and AVL's high quality standards are met.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Main contact person for quality issues between customers, AVL and suppliers
• Support of AVL´s project managers in planning, monitoring and controlling project quality
• Creation of quality plans for the projects, based on customer requests
• Monitoring and supporting the project execution process and the problem-solving process (trouble shooting)
• Monitoring and approval of acceptance tests for suppliers and customers
• Supporting the project-related lessons learned process and moderating these workshops as well as identifying non-conformities or opportunities for improvement
• Performance of project and process audits

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (Secondary Technical College, University of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences) in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive test systems or plant engineering
• Completed quality management training(s)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance in the automotive industry or in plant engineering
• Initiative, good networking skills and analytical thinking as well as good problem solving skills
• Very good communication skills and team-oriented working style
• Very good knowledge in German and English (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel 15 percent (mainly throughout Europe)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €57,640.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
